Please let me know what should I do to stop these crashes.

Whatever this is…
Probably a problem with automatic updates.
Try to turn off automatic updates.

Also check with df -h if your disk has some free space left.

I will do what suggested and will turn-off Automatic updates. I checked the space on both and plenty left. Kodi running from a 64G high-speed USB 3 stick.

Based on your previous log I assume a filesystem corruption. Is journalctl showing any thing? grab-logs -J

Posted the requested logs from both Pis. I installed cpy very recently and did this coz of crashes I am experiencing since start of this post…

Nothing strange visible there. Sorry no idea.

Thanks guys. I have turn the auto update to check only once a month. If Pis crash again I will upload the logs again. I know this is a pain but hoping to get a solution to my ongoing problem since March.

Would it be a huge annoyance to you to completely resetup one pi with a fresh installation?

If that doesn’t crash then it could be that some corruption occured on both.

I have a pi2 updated to the latest version running 24/7 and no crash in the last 4 months.

Sure I will do that. Is it OK to backup and restore the settings via the OSMC update screen?

You can do a backup and then first see if it crashes without restored backup and if not, restore and see if it still doesn’t crash. So you can see if your config is the problem.

OK got it. Thanks for the help. I will do that.

My MBR PI crashed when try to play a movie and it was stuck in loading screen. I was able to SSH and did a restart via SSH.

Hi guys

I observed that both Pis now stable again and happy to accept the solution as turning off the Auto Updates.

Hopefully you guys can get the Auto update issues fixed soon.

I didn’t observ any crashes since my last post on both of the PIs.

Thanks again guys.
