3rd party remote and DVB-T2 question

Hello,

I’m interested in buying a Vero 4K and I’m curious if 3rd party remotes are supported out of the box or if those would require configuration on my part. Specifically, the Minix Neo A2 Lite would be the remote I’d be interested in, as it has a Gyro Mouse function that I think would be handy for skipping to a specific part in a video.

Also, I’m curious about the DVB-T2 module that’s offered in the store. Does it make us of an internal antenna or is it something I plug an antenna cable into? I’m currently using a cable that looks like this to receive my TV channels: https://i.imgur.com/NIqI074.png

Is this supported by the dongle? Thanks in advance!

Third party remotes should work OK. You can change keymappings too if necessary.

The dongle doesn’t have an internal antenna and the cable you’ve shown is appropriate

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know if every order made before the 20th will ship on the 20th?

No guarantee, but everything should be cleared by the 22nd.

Is there some procedure to activate or pair a third party remote? I’ve plugged in the receiver of the Minix Neo A2 Lite but the Vero doesn’t seem to recognize it.

Well it depends if it needs drivers or not. Normally remote enumerate themselves as HID devices.
Check dmesg if you see any info after you plug in the device.
