4k on Leia

Hi.

Im on the latest OSMC build for Leia/18 and have some issues with 4k material. Some files play fine, others won’t show. These files all play fine on latest OSMC/17.

Display resolution switching seems not to work properly. The files are playing but the TV loses the HDMI signal. It makes no difference, if resolutions in settings are active or inactive. Logfile shows this:

Any advice for me?

We need complete logs to provide any meaningful support.

Okay, I will uplad a complete log tomorrow. ty

Can your TV display 4096x2160? My Samsung KS7000 can’t. I had a similar issue with Leia - adding all the TVs compatible resolutions (all of them except the 4096x**** ones on my set) to the Whitelist in Kodi Settings>System>Display>Whitelist fixed it.
Yours may be a different issue but perhaps worth a go?

My TV (Panasonic tx-58exw784) can do 3840x2160. I also added all resolutions except for the 4096ish but no difference. Also as in my log example the 3840x2160 @ 50.00 file had no output. Must be something different with my setup.

And I forgot to mention, I’m on Vero 4k+.

Try to de-select the 4096x2160 resolutions from the whitelist. It worked for me.

Strange things are happening… One of the two tested files now plays fine (maybe it is related to the cutest update from last night). Anyway I tested 3 different files, only the first one (Test1) still has issues.
Logfile is here: https://paste.osmc.tv/lubisazoge
The whitelist options seem to have no effect at all with my setup though.
