7-8 fps

Hi everybody,

I activated the debugging option in kodi for other reasons but I realized that when playing any video I only get fps between 7-8 according to the on screen debug information. I don’t know if this accurate or not but I don’t see anything wrong with the playback… apparently it goes smooth enough. I couldn’t find anything on the internet about this ‘issue’. Could anyone verify this behavior? It is running on top of a Raspberry Pi 3.

That’s just the update rate of the GUI which is intentionally limited for performance reasons.

Thanks! Any way of displaying on screen the video FPS? just for performance measurements.
