Ahoy. Just got a new raspberry pi 3 through the OSMC site, having fun so far - except that the advancedsettings.xml doesn’t seem to work like it does on my (older and not updated for stability reasons) raspberry pi 2.
I don’t like seeing the “All Seasons” icon when viewing a TV show, and used the aforementioned .xml file to hide it.
According to this thread: Removing *All Seasons list
it is no longer an advanced setting (great!) but the option doesn’t appear to be in OSMC.
Hoping someone here can help hide that pesky icon.
Many thanks, Pete
Have you tried to switch to Confluence skin to set that setting?
I saw your order notes re. getting WiFi 5Ghz to work. I had it written in Outlook on my desktop but forgot to click send. Let me know if you have any trouble getting it to work.
You may need to disable the internal adapter, which can be done by adding dtoverlay=sdhost
to /boot/config.txt.
Cheers dude, I think the 5ghz dongle is working like a charm! It’s much better than the old micro-dongle thing I had.
(Also, love the box and classy logo on everything - very nice!)
Good stuff.
Let me know if you need any help with anything
Thanks for supporting the OSMC project.

Hadn’t tried that - but have now. Doesn’t appear to be a setting on Confluence either. Thanks for the suggestion.
Sweet. Don’t suppose you know anything about this “hide all seasons” setting? As far as I can tell it is a part of regular KODI, dunno whether the Pi port misses it?
But yeh, you were super helpful when I bought my Pi 2, came back for a 3 and I’m guessing I’ll be here again for a Pi 4, whenever that is… hah
Not sure.
Can you take a photo on the device you can see it on?
This kind of GUI setting should be the same across all platforms.
I am sure some users can chime in here as well.
Much obliged

In theory, according to Removing *All Seasons list it should be above “Group movies in sets”
For anyone searching the threads for an answer to this riddle - there is a hidden “Advanced Settings” mode that can only be accessed via heading down to the bottom of the root settings screen and tapping "More."
This then allows you to change the settings “level” to advanced, which in turn allows you to see the "Hide All Seasons option.
It’s not an OSMC issue but a Kodi one, but it would probably be useful to either get rid of the “Advanced settings” menu as it doesn’t really add many settings (none of which seem potentially harmful - or indeed advanced in this case) or at least add a dialogue somewhere saying that there are advanced settings available, as if you are just looking at “Library” settings it doesn’t mention there are hidden options, hence me pulling my hair out in confusion.
Anyhow, thanks again for the prompt responses - I think I now have my setup all organised exactly how my OCD brain requires.
Well done on researching and solving your problem. This will certainly benefit others. Too many menus, skins etc for me to remember these days.

Hah no problem. Probably should have searched around on every menu before posting, but hey, hopefully someone finds this and goes away smiling.
