“Allow file renaming and deletion” is greyed out

This morning I reinstalled my OSMC (tried having SABnzbd, RADARR on it but the vero 4K was not built for this). I imported all my libraries and put the kodi-settings to “expert” again. But somehow settings > general > media “allow file renaming and deletion” is always greyed out. If I check the guisettings.xml the setting is actually on “true”.
Weirdly enough I can delete files using the file manager but not in the movie browser.

That bug has been there 4 years and no-one’s done anything about it???

Seemingly so.
Profiles support is getting a re-work in Kodi, so it should be fixed eventually.
