An error occurred extracting the archive

Hey guys. I have been trying to install OSMC onto my new Samsung evo+ MicroSD Card. Every single time I =get to the end of the installer it comes up with this message “An error occured extracting the archive! Please consult the logfile.”

I have found a bunch of different posts with this error but nothing I have done seems to fix the issue. The card doesn’t have write protect and I have ran the installer as administrator.

Here is the logfile:

Thanks -Mike

Did you try to format the card with SD Formatter?
Did you check the card with H2testw?
Did you disable virus scanner that might jump in?

Also try manually extracting OSMC_TGT_rbp2_20170129.img.gz to C: with winrar.
Do you have enough disk space?

As above test card with H2testw to make sure its not a fake.

I have worked it out. I am not sure what the actual problem was. I was trying to use a local file to install OSMC which I downloaded from the official site. I ended up letting the installer download the latest version and it seemed to work.

Thanks for the reply anyway.
