Restoring backup to “Mass Storage Device USB Device” (J:)… 0%failed
Error: Could not lock the volume!
Code : 5 - Access is denied.

I’ll just get right to it. I’m unable to get past this part in the installation to a new 32gb Micro SD card. Operating on windows 10.

Are you running the installer as an administrator?

Make sure you are not running the installer from the device itself (common mistake)

Fixed. Code 32, another application was running the drive ( no idea what ).

A simple restart of the computer resolved the issue.

Thank you.

It could have been antivirus software.
I think most AV programs scan USB media as soon as it’s attached.

Totally possible. Especially since this remained intact during the reboot.
I appreciate the quick response though.
