sudo apt-get install debian-keyring debian-archive-keyring
sudo apt-key update

may fix the issue

Okay, so update to 18.5.0-4 completed but still gets errors

after reboot

You seem to have added the Debian sources list. Don’t do this — you need armv6l for Pi 1 and you will brick your install otherwise.

sorry I don’t know what that means, how it happened, or how to fix it?

What’s the content of /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.list?
I don’t think this file should be present.

GNU nano 2.7.4 File: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.list

temp deb Index of /debian stretch m$ deb Index of /debian-security $ deb Index of /debian stretch-u$ deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian stretch-ba$

Remove that file, it should then be fine.

all sorted now thank you Sam
