Artist Slideshow not working in OSMC skin

Hi. I just installed OSMC on my raspberry pi 2. We’re having a wild love affair so far. However, no matter what I do, I cannot get Artist Slideshow to work with the OSMC skin. I have turned on the “Enable Artist Slideshow” option in the appearance settings, but all that happens is that Artist Slideshow gives me a black screen instead of fanart. The thing of it is, is that Artist Slideshow will work if I switch to the Confluence skin, so it must specifically be something not playing well with it in the OSMC skin. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes, provide logs if you believe there is a programmatic error.

Well, I enabled debugging in Kodi and Artist Slideshow, booted up and started playing music, (I used the same music that worked with Artist Slideshow in the Confluence skin,) and then used Kodi Log Uploader: http://xbmclogs.com/pfclomhan

Is anything else required?

(P.S. I have some technical knowledge, but I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to logs and such, so excuse me if I seem a bit dim.)

It appears that native support for this is sparse. Did you have to make changes to confluence?

No, I didn’t have to make any changes at all. It just works with Confluence out of the box.

I thought that as Artist Slideshow is mentioned in the OSMC skin’s appearance settings, that the addon would be supported. It seems a bit odd that it isn’t in that case. Why integrate it if it doesn’t work?
