Audio Off and On on OSMC

Hello Forum Members,
I am facing a strange problem with my OSMC installation on Rasp Pi2. When I play some video (via add ons) the audio gets muted for a few seconds and then it comes back but this off and on cycle keeps repeating. I have tried formatting the SD card and reinstalled OSMC quite a few time but to no avail. Not sure what has gone wrong. I ran into this issue 3 months back and till then everything was fine. At that time I was running the latest version of OSMC. But now I have downgraded the version but I see the same issue.

Could this be an issue with my HDMI cable and nothing to do with OSMC ?

It could be your HDMI cable, but just what addon are you using?

Hi Brian, the plugin I am using Yupp Tv. I just noticed that the issue is only with videos I play on this plugin. other addons like

Then this is a problem with the plugin, not OSMC. Seek support from their developers.

You are running an old build. if you are having problems then updating would be the first step.

Thank you popcornmix. Was able to fix the issue by reducing the refresh rate to 30. The only reason for running an old build is that I felt newer builds were causing lot of video buffering.
