Audio on my video has low level hiss/crackle from MiniJack

Hi
my video has 48khz AAC audio, sounds great on my laptop playing thru my stereo. On the Pi there is a low level hiss. Any ideas why??

Not uncommon, the pi has never really provided very good audio from the 3.5mm jack. Try a cheap USB DAC?

Thanks, so dumb question, how would I set the audio to come out of the USB in OSMC?

ah that’s the ‘ALSA’ Audio Out setting right?
