just wanted to say that august update (kodi 19.1) killed my entire setup.
- kodi not starting up (hangs at database migration)
- hifiberry not working anymore
- config.txt messed up
would be nice to not automatically push major updates like that if they are that buggy next time.

They are not automatically pushed.
It’s impossible to update without receiving an update notification and we put a big warning up informing users that this update was a significant update and you should check the blog first.
If you post some logs, we could advise what went so wrong.
