I have been dealing with constant crashing on some content since i got the vero v and basically stopped using it for content that caused crash but my windows media pc has no HDR. So spent some time troubleshooting and it is the AV receiver. As soon as i turn the avr off, the content plays fine and i can skip fine no issues.
I suspect its because my avr is from 2016 and does not support atmos. This new content comes up as dolby digital+ on the avr then freezes and crashes the video.
At least i know what the issue is now. I guess buying a new AVR is the only solution?
The Vero’s will only send bitstream DD+ if you have it configured to do so in your audio settings. If you disable that then these streams should get converted and sent to your AVR as PCM…
