Backlight control........again, OSMC July drop

Hi,

I recently came back to OSMC after just running Kodi on Raspian. I notice all the RPI back light hooks are in and working. I am using the Kodi callbacks plugin to call my back light on and off scripts when the screen saver starts and stops. With the OSMC skin, all works as expected, when the screen saver starts, the back light gets turned off, when it ends the back light comes back on. The issue seems to be with any other skin. In this case, when the screen saver starts, the display is just black, but the back light is still on. Go back to the OSMC skin and it’s fine.

Any thoughts?

I went back through some old threads and was reminded of the PiTsOff addon that Mark did. Installed it and now things work good enough. The only case I noticed that the screen saver did not turn off the back light is when in full screen mode while streaming music. I have not tried other cases but that is one I noticed it still does not work.
