Black screen after 3 seconds, sound continues

Hi there,

I got my Vero 4K this summer and have been very happy with it.
But now i started to se some odd things when using it.
I can reproduce this every time, but don’t know why.

Steps:

  • Turn on tv (sony 2014 model) and reboot Vero 4K
  • Start a movie or watch some tv via the Tvheadend add on.
  • Stop the movie or tvheadend client
  • Turn off tv
  • Turn on tv and start a movie or watch tv via Tvheadend add on.
  • After 3 seconds, the screen goes black and my tv tells me “unsupported video format”, but the sound continues

I then stop the movie/tvheadend ( it still respond to the CEC) and turn of the tv.
I then turn on the tv again, and if I don’t reboot the Vero, it does the same again, 3 sec movie, then black screen but sound continues.
After a Vero reboot I can watch every thing just fine for as long as I don’t turn the tv off and on again.

Problem should be solved with an update in the next couple of days. For the time being you can try to enable HDP Locking

Thank you for the quick reply.
I can wait if it can be fixed by a patch.
The reboot fix is ok, as i do not use the tv everyday :slight_smile:
