Buffering after streaming for awhile?

Hey, so I’m experience a reoccurring issue. I watch my video content by streaming from online sources.

Anyways, lets say I watch a 1 hour HD episode of a show, it will play smoothly the whole way through. Then, I’ll move on to the next episode and about halfway through, it’ll just start buffering. Watching 5 minutes can take almost 20 minutes…

I’m using a Raspberry Pi 3 with OSMC installed. When it comes to video streaming, I never have any issues with anything else. YouTube, Netflix, CraveTV, they all work flawlessly. Buffering only occurs with Kodi/OSMC.

I’ve tried both wired and wireless connection. Pretty much the same result.

Does anyone have any ideas? I’m almost certain that it shouldn’t be buffering the way it is.

The source is most often the issue, particularly when they are less than legitimate. It’s hard to offer any useful advice without logs or even knowing what these sources are.
