I did a clean install of the last OSMC, sounds gui I still do not function. I empty this folder: /home/osmc/.kodi/sounds
Where is the sound Bursting Bubbles? How to start it?
Works fine here. Settings>Appearance>Navigation Sounds
This folder you empty? /home/osmc/.kodi/sounds
yes
The menu I set sounds and it does not work well. Can you help?
Tested on skin OSMC, Confluence, Amber, Installed a clean installation OSMC June…
I assume sound works while playing back video ?
By default the Pi shuts down the HDMI audio channel when idle and some TV’s are slow to turn sound back on again which means the short GUI sounds get missed.
To avoid this go to Settings->System->Audio Output and change “Keep audio device alive” to Always.
Also make sure you have the Kodi master volume set to maximum or you may not hear the GUI sounds.
Sound when playing movies is fine.
How do I set MASTER VOLUME KODI? Is there any command via SSH to control and setting MASTER VOLUME?
Photos English settings:
RPi2 HDMI is connected to the receiver, I control it by remote control of Samsung television.
Tested RaspBMC - XBMC 13.2 - sound GUI OK
OSMC RC3 and June 1 - KODI 14.2 - sound GUI NONE
That same hardware and the same wiring.
Press + on a keyboard to turn up the master volume, otherwise you’ll find it as the first volume adjustment in the onscreen controls -> audio settings when playing a video. (The one that has a maximum value of 0dB)
