Can OSMC send OSD notifications to Kodi?

A program I use has the ability to send osd notifications and I was wondering if OSMC/Kodi had a way to handle them?

Requirement: Must have a notification system like dbus for linux operating systems.

Yes it’s called “xbmc-send”
