now i just have one minor problem which has nothing to do with the wifi issue i just had (maybe). when i browse my smb share, nothing shows up. but i CAN access it if i type the path directly, so it is working with that workaround. on my other PI, it shows up if I browse the Windows SMB share category. I don’t have to type in the patch. Just wondering why this may be. any help is appreciated.
That’s to be expected. There is a problem with the latest Samba preventing browsing shares. I’d guess that your other Pi isn’t updated, so doesn’t have the bug.
