This is an aesthetic question.

Does anybody know of an aftermarket “case” into which you could fit a Vero 4k and a HDD (etc.). This would result in a single box with minimal footprint and relatively unobtrusive wiring connections.

Unlikely. The vero case and heatsink work together and wouldn’t enjoy being in another box without suitable ventilation.

Maybe @sam_nazarko could consider this as a feature request. I know he was thinking about an OSMC NAS.

Good point about heat dissipation.

If Sam is thinking about future designs, then maybe he can mull over such a device (possibly called a “Vero 4k HDD” or similar).
