Actually having read a bit more on the forums maybe it will help if I used the USB power from the tv. My thinking is that this could power the pi after the tv switches on…

This is now working. Each time I’ve switched on my tv the CEC works great! Thanks all.
I’m really flying along with this now apart from me not being able to SSH into the pi@192.168etc due to my password not being remembered but I can SSH log into osmc@192.168etc etc But this is fine, I’m all set up now and using it great!
