Cover Art and Descriptions on external hard drvie

Hi

Just got OSMC. It shows that I can add cover art and movie description to the movies that I have, but it does not show up. I have connected my external hard drive directly to the raspberry pi 2, as this is where I have stored my movies.

can i get cover art to show up on my external hard drive content?

You need to add the locations as sources and set content to allow Kodi to scrape the media.
