CPU stats gives error 2500% during playback

When I try to stream a movie either from NAS or from a movie addon on kodi It get laggy and spikey meaning. Sometimes it loads fine but then it lags and when I check the stats frame I see could error 25% and upto 2500% sometimes.

Is it because I use a mobile charger as supply for the rpi 3?

A picture that showed all the codec overlay text would have been useful.
Is the codec something without hardware support? (e.g. HEVC/H.265?)

Tried a new one. Same issue but not as much errors.

Trying a new one. Video h264 audio ac3.

Error:25%.

Could this be related to a too low supply power or is it related to a slow WiFi?

I mean. Is the error: 25% a error from CPU or just from the playing the file? What does the error stand for

There you go. So the last row is sync to screen. Does WiFi affects it? Or why does I get so many errors on the %

Changed to adjust display refresh rate to always. Now I have 0% error and no lag? Did it had something to do with that?

I would say yes, it’s the same on my Pi (also an Pi3) I use 50Hz shows to adopt the different framerates from videos best possible, another option is to change to adopt framerate from video. But I can’t say where to option is atm.

Yes. You were playing 25fpv video on a 60Hz display.
There “error” isn’t an error but a measure of how well the framerates are aligned.
You should always enable “adjust display refresh rate” if you care about smooth video.

Thanks for giving the answer for me. Cheers.
