Well more issues:
Can somebody check this sample:
At around 40 seconds there is a light blue background if i play that with the DEV patch above the picture is almost black you cant see a thing.
Then at 04:14 the pink backround stays there for 1 second and goes almost full black. You canāt read anything the Vero V sends the wrong Metadata.
I tested it with my old Ugoos Box and there nothing dims down (on the same TV). Like whats going on with the Vero V box and Profile 5 files? Its not even a āincorrectā one its a normal Profile 5
File: HDR format: Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.05.06, BL+RPU
Very dissapointed to be honest. Even the standard LG internal Player plays it normal and it happens over and over again.

Tested the HBOMAX Version which is 8.1 and that version does not have the issue also why does have Profile 5 files have a red tint? That should not happen and its like the first time i noticed it how more āintenseā the Profile 5 is comparing to the 8.1. I tried them both on the Ugoos and both look the same. So something isnt right with Vero V playing profile 5 files. Can somebody test the sample file and confirm it with DEV patch? Before i make endless logs.

File Above:
HDR format: Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.05.06, BL+RPU
But why has the Ugoos Box absotutely no Problem with it and the Vero V fails and fails. Like it makes no sense to me.
I donāt know but weāll look into it. If we canāt reproduce the issue we will need logs.

Another Sample:
4 second mark it completely blacks out, credits also black out but only 95 %.
This one was sourced from HBOMAX and its untouched the like the file above only difference the file above is from the amazon HBOMAX channel. The 8.1 Version from HBOMAX (which is also present on HBOMAX) works fine.
Colorwise seems like they all do look like the same, the difference comes from the Amazon Master (for whatever reason). Whats interesting the Profile 5 HBOMAX version has also only āHDR format: Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.05.06, BL+RPUā so seems like Vero V is doing something wrong here reading the Metadata. Not sure why that is happening with simple Profile 5 files.
Does the P8.1 version say āno metadata compressionā?

No meta compression and profile 5 missing but plays without a problem I can send a sample for that version as well.
Unfortunately, thereās nothing simple about Profile 5. Iāve now been able to test your samples and reproduce the problem. Weāll check whatās happening with the metadata.

Well itās an official streaming Profile and also comes directly from the streaming provider. Itās not like BluRays with FEL layer merged or something. Thatās what I meant and I know the two files are sort of āout of specsā and the provider did something wrong but still itās working on the TV internal player and my Ugoos box so not sure whatās happening with the Vero box letās hope it can be fixed 
Since the specs are proprietary we donāt know that. We rely on kind users like yourself to let us know when things donāt work. I can see some metadata in your clips is unusual (ie we havenāt come across something similar before). It does tend to be in rolling credits and the like - with a few plain colours - that Dolbyās algorithms throw up some extreme values. Should be fixable.
