ero 4K(+) w/ external USB Hard Drive

Hi-

I’ve got a Vero 4K+ on the way and have a large external hard drive I’d like to fill up with media and play thru the Vero.

The Vero only has USB 2.0 - Does anybody have an external hard drive connected directly to their Vero that they use to play files from? Any speed or buffering issues with this setup?

USB 2.0 supporting 60 MB/s (480 Mbit/s) which even if you take away the overhead should not be a problem to any currently available media siource (e.g. Blueray rip)

It will be fine – even for 4K UHD rips.

Hi, i have a 5TB Seagate with 4K movies, 60-70GB each and Vero 4K+ plays it smooth.
My files are usually like this:
