E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

Seems to be the same error, no?

It might be a hardware-related problem on the ethernet port or even something happening out on the Internet.

Is there any chance you can try to connect to your router using WiFi, instead of cable? That might help to pin things down.

Strange. It actually did the trick.

I switched back to the ethernet port after the update and verified that I actually got a connection to internet (not just LAN), and I do. I didnā€™t check before I tried updating though, but Iā€™m 99% sure I was connected as well (as metadata for movies etc. downloaded fine).

In any way, thank you for your help
