Error updating

Hey folks,

An error popped up stating that osmc couldn’t update and to post on the community. I also tried manually with the same result and also using the cli which also has an error.

Whats the error message reported when you try update using the cli?

Hi Blinkz, dilthedog has just noticed an issue in the logs “/var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.debian.org_debian_dists_stretch_main_binary-armhf_Packages, E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.”

The recommded advise is to from the commandline:

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.debian.org_debian_dists_stretch_main_binary-armhf_Packages

Then try updating again.
