I hope this is the right place to post this.
Basically when I press the info button during playback I get visible frame skipping. This only happens using the OSMC skin. I’ve verified this whilst the statsare running that show drops, skips, latency etc
If I use estuary it doesn’t happen. I know I could just use estuary but I much prefer the OSMC skin.
Is this a known bug/issue
P.s an unrelated question but what should operating temps be I find I’m idling at around 60c is that normal?
On a Ugoos AM6B+ (different device I know) I’d idle at about 40c

It’s a known Kodi issue showing under different circumstances on all platforms. We’ve tried debugging it and have figured out so far that it’s related to the length of text shown in text boxes. It’s also visible when scrolling through lists of items where text is shown next to the list - the scrolling will not be smooth, if the texts are longer.
On embedded platforms it’s a lot more visible then, let’s say, on a PC. It might just seem like it’s not happening with Estuary, but we’ve reproduced it here with any skin, not just ours.
Unfortunately, we can’t give any time line as to when this might be fixed as it’s not in our hands - it’s a Kodi issue. So far, we’ve not been able to nail it down enough for the Kodi guys to be able to fix it.
