On my Raspberry with OSMC installed there are black bars when watching widescreen films. On Vero 4k + gray bars. What could be the problem? The problem is seen in all films. Vero 4 K + OSMC November 2020 2020.11-1.
We need some more information (logs will help).
Does it happen on all content, or just some videos?
All films have a problem. Tried it with different resolutions.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

reproduce the issue

upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the
Log Uploadermethod within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or thesshmethod invoking commandgrab-logs -A -

Set the colour range to limited (16-235)
Some suggestions:
Change Adjust display refresh rate to On.
Can you let us know what display you have? You might need to enable a limited colour range under Settings -> Display.
