Vero V is connected to a brand new HDR capable TV via AV receiver. Both the OSMC GUI, as well as video playback has green/magenta colors. I can provide logs later but maybe someone knows immediately what causes this.

Please disregard this, it was not caused by Kodi but an erraneous calibration profile… Sorry!

Can you elaborate on how you fixed this?
I set up my first streaming box today and I’m getting the same green video/ui. I’m not very experienced and I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it.
They had the colors on their display set wrong. Modern displays frequently have per input or per display mode settings which can sometimes make it appear as if the connected device is off instead of just that one input being configured incorrectly on the display itself. That being said your first step should probably be to try a different input on your display and/or a different HDMI cable.
Yeah, I went through all the picture settings on the TV and noticed that one value, which was supposed to be 50, was actually set to 0 
. Turns out I had accidentally looked at the wrong parameter’s recommended value in the calibration data.
