GUI Resolution advise for Vero V

I’m setting up my new Vero V, is it still advised to set the GUI to 1080p or can I now use 4k?
I’ve searched but could not find the answer

You can set to 4k, but the GUI will be unnecessary upscaled by the Vero.

I would suggest to set the GUI to the format of the videos that you play most of the time to avoid resolution/frequency switching

When I tried to switch, it gave me a warning that 1080p is advised.

So I was to quick with the question here :sweat_smile:

Nothing wrong with a 4k GUI but it won’t look any different to a 1080p one. If you do set 4k, best to use a whitelist so that videos with a lower resolution aren’t upscaled (TV upscaling is usually better).
