hauppauge 955Q support
I am trying to use a Hauppauge 955Q on my new Raspbeery Pi 2. I know the device works because I installed it on my Win7 laptop with Hauppauge’s software/drivers. I checked /lib/firmware and I see v4l-cx231xx-avcore-01.fw in the directory. Checking LinuxTv wiki’s I see there is a difference between the Hauppage 950Q & 955Q as they use different firmware versions. Has anyone successfully used a 955Q tuner with OSMC on Raspberry Pi 2, and if so, how did they go about doing it? Unfortunately, I’m a linux newbie, and compiling drivers without some really specific instructions related to OSMC RC2 on Raspberry Pi 2 might be beyond me. Thanks for any help you could provide, even just to say that it positively, definitely WON’T work
