HDD Install Can't Wake From Standby

I installed OSMC to the HDD of my ATV1 today. I was configuring and then took a break and used quit–>standby. Now I cannot get my ATV1 to send any signal to the TV. The ATV1 has a dim light on and it flashes when I hit a command on my remote (Android App). I’ve tried to power cycle and boot from usb and neither work. When I power cycle the light flashes amber for a bit and then goes back to dull blue.

I am able to get a command line via SSH. When I tried grab -logs, I got -bash: grab: command not found.

Any ideas?

Hi

Standby won’t work properly, so perhaps we should rip this setting out.

However a power cycle should have remedied this.

Can you post the complete output of your SSH session?

See below. Let me know if there is anything else you want me to try.

grab-logs doesn’t have a space between it.

Sam

thanks, just ran grab-logs -a. Results are at http://paste.osmc.io/azohamirek.

Should be grab-logs -A

Note the capital A small a grabs apt logs only, capital A grabs all logs

Thanks. New logs are at http://paste.osmc.io/uzehelijog

Fixable and not related to standby. See https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/upgrade-failed/12537.

The January update shouldn't have been afflicted by this. If you downloaded the 2016.01 images today, shouldn't have been a problem.

Tried the commands, but got an error below.

root@osmc:/home/osmc# fsck.hfsplus /dev/sdal
/dev/sdal: No such file or directory
Can’t stat /dev/sdal
Can’t stat /dev/sdal: No such file or directory

Seems you have typed the commands instead of copy/paste.
