It’s true.if i tried to change input device (for example tv) and return to raspberry input (HDMI 1) the cec seems to work again

Don’t know if this is the right topic but I’m also experiencing CEC issues after Krypton update: when I press a key on the remote, OSMC repeats the selected command twice (e.g. I press the down arrow once and it moves two “tiles” down", I press the “back” key and it goes two menus back). Are these issues also being fixed by the next update?
Once I reverted to Kodi Jarvis the issues was gone.

Thank you

Settings>system>input>peripherals>cec may have an option for repeat keypress suppression

I tried with no luck the following settings (libcec 4.0.2):

(This setting works on Jarvis and libcec 3xx)
Remote button press delay before repeating (ms): 300
Remote button press repeat rate (ms): 0
Remote button press release time (ms): 0

Remote button press delay before repeating (ms): 800
Remote button press repeat rate (ms): 0
Remote button press release time (ms): 0

Remote button press delay before repeating (ms): 300
Remote button press repeat rate (ms): 100
Remote button press release time (ms): 0

Remote button press delay before repeating (ms): 300
Remote button press repeat rate (ms): 100
Remote button press release time (ms): 100

Any advice? Jarvis works like a charm…

i have the same issue: most commands are repeated twice :-/

i tried librelec 8.0 (krypton 17) with the same issue. couldn’t find any settings in libcec (or osmc pi settings) to fix this

Tried with several configurations with no luck… is there anyone that could help us? Thanks

In system/input/peripherals/cec set the repeat rate to, say 150ms.

I tried different settings (even repeat rate higher than delay) no luck so far

Also in March update there’s the same problem with HDMI CEC

Hi, is there any news on this issue?
It seems to be related to libcec 4 as many users fixed the problem reverting to OSMC based on Kodi 16.1… any advice?
Thanks

Thank you very much! Do you mean the april OSMC update or the next libcec update? Is there a release plan? Thanks

After last update my remote control by libcec is broken and don’t work anymore.
How can I fix it?
P.S. It’s false alarm  I just unpluged HDMI and power cabels couple times and OSMC work now again.

I mean the april update.

I installed the april update from scratch on a spare SD card (well, I installed the march build and then updated), the problem is still there…
I’ll try with the april disk image as soon as it’s available and let you know

Ok. Then this could be a different problem.
I didn’t have time to test it myself.
You could still post some debug logs that demonstrate it then.
Might be helpful.
