Heavy soundissues while playing music

HW RPI2 / OSMC latest stable release.
Filetype : Flac / MP3 / AAC
Connection: HDMI

As soon as bass sets in while playing music the whole track becomes distorted. Sounds kind of like broken speakers… known issue?

-> No problems while playing movies with passthrough

Any different with resample method set to High (rather than GPU) in system/audio settings?

The problem disappeared… i dont know what went wrong… left it running during the day… in the evening everything worked fine again.
