Hebrew fonts on Hard Drive appear in Gibberish when using FTP

Hi,

I have an external hard drive that is connected to RPi2 via USB, most directories are in English but some are in Hebrew.
When I log on to OSMC via FTP the Hebrew directories appear in Gibberish.
When I log on to OSMC via SFTP the hebrew directories appear just fine.

I use filezilla client.

really not a big deal, I simply use SFTP just wondering

I don’t think FTP supports Unicode/UTF8. So you only get an ASCII character representation of your filenames.
