Helpful info for Denon AVR-X2500H

I have the Denon AVR-X2500H

And was suffering from signal loss through projector i knew it wasn’t my cable as it works fine with all other devices. Dvd, pc etc

I’ve tested all the way through lots of movies and if TV is left in standby I always get signal loss through projector if TV off on wall its always fine.

Just to save people the heartache.

Hi there,

Denon AVs have always been interesting data points for us.
It’s hard to advise without a bit more info and a log, but try enabling HPD Lock under Settings -> Display and re-booting.

Hi Sam,

Their is no fault with Vero 4k

Samsung UHD7100

My Point was that Denon AVR-X2500H unlike Yamaha Receivers Automatically Switch Source When going from HDMI OUT 1 to HDMI out 2

For users who have a TV and Projector Plugged into their receivers.

What I found out with testing is that if the TV is left on standby while watching a movie through the projector. You will get a signal loss at some point during the movie.

Since purchasing the device I have tested 80+ movies taking it in turns with tv off on mains and on.

The simple solution is turn the TV off on the mains when watching on projector.

The problem only occurs when tv is in standby.

Hope this helps other DENON AV Users.

I’ve had a 4306 and now a 4520 and neither of them have ever done that. Possibly your tv has a problem?
