I subscribe to a iptv service that use HLS as there sreaming protocol.
I have it setup on Kodi on my Windows pc and its working great but its not working on my Vero 2. I asked the iptv support and they said that im probably missing a HLS codec on my vero 2.
Is this codec missing? Please tell me if you want logs etc.

Can you explain what the actual issue is apart from ‘not working’? We would need logs to find out what the problem is.
HLS isn’t a codec, it’s a streaming protocol. It is supported on Vero 2 and I believe should be handled by librtmp. Occasionally, new streams come along that require support for a new type of handshake, which requires a librtmp update. We keep the same librtmp code across all OSMC devices.
I’d be a bit skeptical of any company claiming it’s a codec. They should really know what they’re talking about… Logs will clear things up
