Hi everyone,
I have installed osmc as a media center to download torrents on an external hdd formatted as ntfs and I am very
happy with my little Raspberry.
To download torrents, I have installed the Deluge client and it’s working well, except for one thing: despite the fact that I have set it up to download to my external hard drive, it downloads only to the sd card that fills up pretty quickly.
Now I have searched the forum and found several topics from people who experienced the same problem and resolved it.
It looks like it has to do with user permission on the hard drive. Deluge does not have permission to write on the hard drive.
I found some solutions like sudo chmod 777 or configuring a fsab file, but some of the information is either old or contradictory and I don’t want to mess up my system (which I have before).
Can anybody please help?
Please note I am bit of a newbie when it comes to osmc or using the terminal
