I’ve installed transmission on my rpi and it works great saving files to an attached usb drive. I would like to change the download location to my mythtv backend server’s hard drive. The Mythtv backend server and rpi are both on my home network. Is there a way to do that? I know just enough linux to be dangerous. Thanks.
Well you somehow would need to give the RPI access to the mythtv hardisk via network (e.g. NFS or SMB). How to do that depends on the OS you are running the mythtv server on.
