Installed OSMC today, KODI not working

After installation of the release 2015.06-1I seem to be able to execute many OSMC functions
yet KODI is not running.
I am able to install Video add-ons; they seem to look for and find
TV films but are not playing them.
I received a note to upload logs. I have created them and uploaded them.
They are available in:

Can you help?

If you can see the GUI then Kodi is running. I see no attempt to play any media that failed in your logs.

many thanks for the quick reply.
Since I sent my request I found a note at the right bottom that KODI 15 is running.

However, I tried over twenty video streams from different add-ons. They offer a selection and when
selected and opened I see activity to start streaming. After a while I see a small
image of the film on the screen and a circle of dots running. Again after a while I get
the message;

Playback failed
One or mote items failed to play
Check the logfile for details

Is that the kodi log and what should I look for?

Yes that means check the Kodi log… So make attempts to play videos and then immediately create logs afterward. Provide the link here.

I tried about 15 video streams. Two of them played.
Some did nor react at all, others gave a notice that the cache is full,
The rest replied that replay failed.

The logs are here:

I hope you can figure something out

You have a network connectivity issue. Not sure if it’s something blocking access on your end or an issue with the addon itself.

I’d suggest contacting the developer of the addon since it would seem that your issues are with the addon alone and I suspect that any local content would play without issue.

Thanks for your review of the logs. i find it difficult to believe that there is an issue
with my network or the add-ons. For several months I have been running on the same Raspberry PI and with the same network Kodi under the OS Openelec and all the same Add-ons without
any problems. I will go back to Openelec. Perhaps the same difficulty may appear because of Kodi 15.
We will see. I will let you know.

Your wireless adaptor appears to be having problems:

Have you tried a different power adaptor, a different wireless adaptor, or an Ethernet connection ?

Unfortunately I do not have another WIFI adapter. The others are built into PCs. Ethernet is not available in the Raspberry Pi location. But I will buy another WIFI adaptor.

Yet I replaced OSMC on my PI with the OS Raspian and now I can stream all TV shows and films.
No buffering or quality reduction. I will now try to install KODI on the OS Raspian to see if I can stream films from the KODI Video Add-ons, a process which failed on OSMC.

The OS Raspian constantly displays my network activity and I see that the level is about 40%.
I am used to 80 -100%. maybe there is a reduction in throughput. When I get the new adaptor
I will see and let you know.

The WIFI network has now degraded to 25%. Streaming of Video on Kodi
under Raspian has become slow. Audio is normal. You are right, the Wifi adapator
is dying.

I will report again when I have the new adaptor.

I received the new WiFi adaptor. The films are now streaming OK.
Thanks for your help.
This issue is now closed.
