Installer error/stops

I’m testing on Mint now… Can you not use the Win10 machine since your Ubuntu machine is being difficult?

No problems on Mint…

So seems to be some issue with your ubuntu machine.

I am trying my best to use windows less and learn Linux.:frowning:
I will ask someone to read the thread from Linux Lite forums.
Maybe they will noticed what is wrong with it on the distro.

That’s a good thing

If you have another SD card on hand, try that. It will help to narrow down the problem.

Thank you for your patience.
It is solved now.
I used the same card and the osmc image d/l instead.
With Etcher on Linux Lite to flash the sd card with the osmc image, have tried the sd card and completed the install on Pi3 now
I’ll be able to use the osmc remote now for its intended use.
:innocent: instead of adding lines into the terminal with it, and other experiments.
