I downloaded the windows installer and get the error “Please check that you are not trying to download OSMC via a proxy server” when executing it.
I’ve used the windows installer before, so I tried the older version i’d saved. But with the same result …
Any help would be appriciated !

This maybe one for @sam_nazarko.
But you try a couple things, make sure you running the install as administrator. If you are running any anti virus, test the installer with it temporarily disabled.
Failing that you download the latest image and tell the installer to install that:
