I’m wondering if its possible to send a analog signal through the HDMI port? and also switch it back easily? this would be use full so i would not have to buy a composite converter and just use a cable. I also want to be able to switch back easily so i can connect it to a device that uses HDMI.I’m using a Raspberry Pi 2. Thank you
Not sure how you would connect a hdmi cable to a non-hdmi device without a converter. But you can use the analog out of the pi.
HDMI to composite converters are not that expensive. So if you want only one cable it is the best option to buy one.
Pi HDMI ouput is purely digital.
