It is not possible to connect to the Internet via both cable and Wi-Fi

My switch

and the logs for direct connection to the router?

When you connected directly to the router did you happen to try disconnecting everything else to fully isolate the device? If you happened to inadvertently create a switching loop or DHCP is handing out the same IP as a manually configured device this would bypass that and give you somewhere to look.

Router is Hd dvr mediabox (horizon) Made for Liberty Global (ISP) by Pace.

Hi,

I’m not seeing any drop outs using dhcp in the logs, is it still reporting as having no internet is myosmc?

Thanks Tom.

yes only in myosmc

This problem is a bit of a mystery. Log shows that the Vero4K is repeatedly getting an IP address and then dropping it. Unfortunately, it’s not clear why it’s doing this.

The router/PVR might be the cause of the issue, though, in the absence of any hard evidence, that’s just a guess. Unless you rely on avahi (zeroconf), I’d suggest that you switch it off:

sudo systemctl stop avahi-daemon
sudo systemctl disable avahi-daemon

Restart the box and see if this makes a difference.
