Latest update seems to have broken video playback for me and causes kodi to crash unceremoniously. This includes local playback and remote shares.
Even with debug on it is hard to see what is breaking. This is the end of the log.

Complete logs might be more useful. Other than that, try a reinstall. You seem to have the only system that exhibits a problem with the build.
Can’t replicate the issue here. If you go back to a previous version does it fix it?
Also please post full debug logs.
The previous version only has a change to the subtitles so this is unlikely to cause a issue.
Define complete logs? Because all I did was navigate to a video file and try and play it. Then the log stops as demonstrated.

Trust me this is not my first rodeo and the end of that log is all the info you were going to get. As it is I have downgraded back to stable and so I am off this Alpha track now. The only reason I was on it was because I needed a newer version of Kodi to go with a newer version of Mythtv addon. That situation has become moot now as I am no longer using mythtv backend so I don’t need a newer version of Kodi.
As to being unique to having problems… again… you wouldn’t believe how good a beta tester I am and I can find flaws in anything given time, just look at my other posts.
Either way. Thanks @gmc Downgrade seems to have worked so I am not on 18.2 and won’t need to bother this thread any more. Keep up the good work. My Vero has become an invaluable piece of equipment and is still the easiest and nicest way to run a Kodi front end.
