I’ve been trying to find a way to capture/record the live streams (.strm) from my IP cameras on my LAN.
Certainly nothing as sophisticated as I-spy but just the ability to manually save a clip to the PI-2’s local hard drive.
I am able to see all the individual cameras streams and play the I-spy captures from another computer on the network.
I’m sure there is probably a simple way of accomplishing this but it’s eluded me so far.
Kodi doesn’t support any sort of recording, so you’ll have to look elsewhere.
With PVR the recording is handled by the PVR server (a separate application often on a separate machine), no Kodi.
