Loading Roms to the Retropie

I’m trying to load rom’s from the USB but the problem is I try to plug in the USB into the pi and have it copy the file like you do in Retropie to copy the rom paths. But the usb shows no difference. Help?

The USB transfermethod will not work in osmc because of the lack of the automounting and rsync feature.

You need to transfer them via samba or scp.
Or copy from the USB stick via ssh or the kodi filebrowser to the respective folders in /home/osmc/RetroPie/roms/SYSTEMNAME

Can you create a folder and copy the path tag and connect it to a folder or is there a different way because I don’t understand how to copy the roms to the /home/osmc/RetroPie/roms/SYSTEMNAME

Connect to the home folder via Windows networking. Then search for the folder and put your roms in.

I don’t know how to get it to connect to the home folder via Windows networking. What do I have to do to accomplish that task?

Install samba from the MyOSMC app store. Connect with your osmc user credentials
