When i looked at the first error message on the log it was:

i tried to edit the file with nano. two strange things: got error messages before nano initiated (strange, multiple line, weird character set.
second, the file itself looked with strange character set. also other files. not all of them in the same folder.

ideas ?

Remove the overclock. Revert back to OSMC or Confluence skin. Whatever files you edited, revert them, they are almost certainly not the problem.
